What is Jeju Samdasoo?

Jeju Samdasoo is a brand of mineral water in Korea. The water is produced by Jeju provinces in Korea. This brand is very famous. It was produced by Korean air in the 1980s. They served Jeju water in the aircraft. This is when it was first made. Before the 1990s came it was not possible to sell bottled water in Korea. But at the 1990s selling bottled water was possible in Korea. As it became possible the Jeju province entered the mineral water market to sell water. This was when Jeju Samdasoo was first made and first produced to be sold. The water is fresh.

What is Gopchang?

Gopchang is a Korean meat that got very famous in the summer. Gopchang hit a very big boom after Mamamoo Hwasa ate it in a program called “I Live Alone”. Gopchang can be small intestines of cows, pigs, etc. There are two main types of food that uses Gopchang. The first one is Gopchang-gui. Gopchang-gui is grilled intestines. The other one is Gopchang-jeongol. Gopchang-jeongol is intestines that are inside this spicy stew with other stuff inside. For those who have not tried it yet might have some dislike about Gopchang. It is because Gopchang’s are a very unique food.

What is Soo jeong gwa?

Soo jeong gwa is a Korean traditional drink. It is made with cinnamon. Soo joeng gwa has this cinnamon taste that is good for some people or bad for some people. Not many young people like to drink it because of the strong smell of the cinnamon. Many old people like to drink it because it is a healthy drink. They put some pieces of nuts on top of it.

What is Apollo?

Apollo is a Korean candy. It is an old school snack. Apollo is a sweet candy. It is not hard but it is soft. It is contained inside a straw, so you would have to suck it or bite through it in order to eat the candy. It has variety kinds of tastes. Apollo was very famous long time ago. It tastes like a syrup with different kinds of fruit juice inside it.

What is Dalgona?

Dalgona is a Korean snack. It is an old snack that you can make it yourself and eat it. Dalgona is basically just a melted sugar mixed with Baking soda and well stirred. It is not that good for your health but it has this taste that is very addicting. It is very sweet and hard. Dalgona is one of Adults most favorite snack in Korea. They usually ate it when they were young. After school ends they would go to the shop and make it. Dalgona is one of the old snacks in Korea that still exists.

What is Kimchi Jeon?

Kimchi Jeon is a Korean kimchi pancake. It sounds weird to make a pancake using kimchi but ti tastes wonderful. Kimchi Jeon is a food that is cooked using kimchi mixed with a dough that is more watery than normal pancakes. It is cooked by making it very flat and wide while you cook it. Many people like to eat it when it is raining outside because the rain outside just makes it more better to eat it. It’s spiciness depends on whose kimchi you use.

What is Gyeran Jjim?

Gyeran Jjim is a steamed Korean egg. It is very puffy and good. This looks like an egg that was in a hot place for too long that it is about explode. basically you just put stirred egg in to a pot and just steam it in fire until it puffs up because of the steam. Many people eat it at restaurants. It is usually served right away after it was taken out form the fire so that it will taste better. It is salted with salt and have some chopped welsh onions on top.

What is Gyeran Mari?

Gyeran Mari is a Korean rolled omelette. It is rolled up with small chopped vegetables such as carrots and many more. It is usually eaten as a side dish in Korea. It is usually made in a shape of thick squares and you would slice it into just the right size to eat it. Sometimes people use ketchup on top to make it taste sweet and more salty. Many kids eat it for their lunch.

What is Bibim Guksu?

Bibim Guksu is a Korean Spicy cold noodle. It is eaten cold and spicy. Many adults like to eat this because it is sweet, cold, and spicy. It is eaten a lot during summer. They use Korean chilli paste for the sauce and many more. Most of the times people put ice to make it more cold. They put soy sauce to make it taste better and salty and sweet. Most of the times people put sliced vegetables to make it fresh.

What is Odeng Tang?

Odeng Tang is a Korean fish cake soup. Usually it sounds weird when you call it fish cake, but it turns out that it doesn’t have any taste that is fishy or anything. It just tastes good. This food has two names. They are Odeng Tang and Eomuk Guk. It is a famous food in Korea during winter because it is warm and good. This is one of my favourite winter food in Korea. The fish cake is usually sold by having it inside the soup and have it boiled together. The soup contains a bit of soy sauce and other stuff. It is usually sold in Korean markets. The fish cakes are usually sold put in wood skewers.
